Customization & Data

Ollie stores all user configuration and custom extensions in a dedicated directory on your machine. Nothing is sent to the cloud unless you explicitly choose a cloud AI provider.

The `~/.ollie-suite/` Directory

This is your personal Ollie home. It's created automatically on first launch:

Path	Purpose
`config.json`	IDE settings (workspace path, theme, layout preferences).
`agents/`	Custom user-created agents. Drop `.json` files here to instantly add new agents without modifying Ollie's source.
`tools/`	User-defined tools. Custom scripts and utilities that your agents can invoke.
`mango_config.json`	Configuration for the Mango autonomous agent (vision settings, loop parameters).

Custom Agents

Creating a custom agent is as simple as placing a JSON file in ~/.ollie-suite/agents/:

The agent will appear automatically in the Agent Manager the next time Ollie loads.

Data Privacy

All local: Everything in ~/.ollie-suite/ stays on your machine.
No telemetry: Ollie does not phone home or collect usage data.
Your keys, your control: Cloud provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) are stored locally in your configuration and sent only to the respective provider's API.

[!TIP] Portable Setup: Back up or sync your ~/.ollie-suite/ directory to carry your agents, tools, and preferences between machines.
